Dr. Daljit S. Buttar is a distinguished physician specializing in Interventional Pain for Spine and Joint Pain Relief as well as Regenerative Medicine procedures.
He holds multiple board certifications in Neurology (ABPN), Interventional Pain (ABIPP), Pain Medicine (ABPM), Pain Management (ABPN) and Psychiatry (ABPN).
He received his Doctor of Medicine from Government Medical College Amritsar in Punjab, India, and completed his residency in Neurology from Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, NY.
He subsequently received advanced medical training in minimally invasive interventional spine procedures as well as regenerative medicine procedures for both spine and joint pain including knee, hip, shoulder and ankle. And last, he became a Regenexx affiliated medical provider in 2026.
As a member of esteemed organizations, such as the American Medical Association, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Headache Society, and the American Academy of Neurology, he has dedicated his career to improving patient outcomes through advanced and minimally invasive pain relief solutions as well as advanced regenerative medicine techniques utilizing PRP and BMAC.
Dr. Buttar utilizes his office based state-of-the-art fluoroscopy suite to perform image-guided spine and joint pain procedures including Epidural Injections, Rhizotomy ( Facet Radiofrequency Ablation), SCS (spinal cord stimulation), MILD (minimally invasive lumbar decompression), SPG blocks and Botox (for migraines) as well as regenerative medicine procedures utilizing PRP and BMAC to not only reduce chronic spine or joint pain but to regenerate the damaged tissue without resorting to invasive surgery such as spinal fusion or placement of artificial joints.
